Care Guide

We made our pieces to worn, loved and passed down, the best way to do that is to take care of them. Here are a few tips and tricks to care for your knitwear:

Washing

Wool naturally resists odour and bacteria, so airing it out is usually enough to keep it fresh between washes.

However, when you do need to wash your knitwear do it in cold or lukewarm water using wool safe-detergent. Let the knit soak for 10-15 minutes. Rinse in cold water and squeeze to remove the water, being careful not to ring-out, stretch or pull on the fabric so it keeps its shape.

Drying

Do not put wool in the tumble dryer as this can cause felting. Dry your knitwear by rolling it in a towel to remove us much moisture as you can and then lay it flat to dry.

Storage

Fold your knitwear, hanging it can cause it to stretch over time. Moths love wool so use cedar blocks, cedar balls, or lavender sachets as these are a natural moth deterrents.
